Leadership Updates

Effective June 2019

  • Dr. Pervez Ali became interim Division Head of Orthopaedics at the Birchmount and General hospitals, working in collaboration with Dr. Jason Smith, the Division Head of Orthopaedics for Centenary.
  • Dr. Jon Hummel, already the Chief of Surgery at Centenary, took on the additional role of interim Chief of Surgery for the Birchmount and General hospitals.
Promotions
  • Dr. Kin Fan Young Tai was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor within U of T’s Department of Paediatrics.
  • Dr. O Nnorom was promoted to Assistant Professor within U of T’s Department of Family and Community Medicine.
